Singrauli is the worst place to live because of pollution; no one takes care of the pollution problem. As a result, 30.7% of people die in Singrauli due to pollution every year. The main reason of pollution is Thermal Power Plant, Coal Mines and Industries located around Singraurli.
Singraulian’s know that with time the level of pollution will increase and maybe the coming generation will not be able to breathe properly, maybe one day due to pollution they may have to leave their home where they live now. Hence, the time has come to find solutions to make Singrauli pollution-free again.
Sometime back, when I came to my home place Singrauli, I realized that I started having difficulty breathing, burning eyes, and various health-related problems. Over time, I realized that the problem is not of me alone but of Singrauli as a whole. When I thought about its solution, I found that solar energy and tree plantation are the right solutions. Taking the initiative, I wanted to install solar panels on the roof of my house. But I could not find any company based in Singrauli which provides complete solar solutions. At that time, I had an experience of more than five years working in a Power Plant, and I got training in Solar Energy during my post-graduation from NPTI Faridabad. I was also very impressed by the Government’s National Solar Mission. I realized that solar is the only way to help eliminate the ever-increasing industrial establishments around our city and create an environment of sustainable development. With this vision, I started a solar company named Symbroj Solar Pvt. Ltd. with the help of my elder brother.
After many struggles, the day had come when we installed solar panels on the roof of our house, which was manufactured by Symbroj Solar Pvt. Ltd. Noida’s based factory.
Presently we have more than 50 happy customers and have installed about 500 Kilowatt (KW) Solar Plant in Singrauli District. I have only one dream behind this initiative that no district of our country should become another Singrauli. And to take this initiative forward, we organize many awareness programs in the form of public campaigns, pamphlet distribution, hoardings etc. So, we are continuously moving towards making Singrauli green and happy.
